it has been a long long time since i last went to clarke quay.. it has changed so much.. much more lively.. much more beautiful than what it was back then.. suppose to have a dinner @ Highlander, a scottish restuarant and bar, and also to catch the program on Channel New Asia featuring on our company - Wood Doctorbut however, when we were on the way down to clarke quay.. the manager from highlander called us and told us that they couldn't connect the cable.. and cannot receive the channel.. OH MAN!! we were so angry with Highlander.. as they promised us the day before that everything will be ok.. and now.. they came and told us this bad news.. it was about 7 plus when everyone reached clarke quay..
photo taken @ clarke quayso nevermind.. we went to other place to look for another alternatives.. we went to many pubs, bars and restaurant and asked if they do have CNA channel.. but all said no.. after that then we realised from one guy he told us that the whole street of clarke quay doesn't have the cable for local channels.. they only have sports ans mtvs channels..searching high and low for places that have tv.. but no CNA! the show was starting soon @ 8.30pm and we still din managed to find a place.. so to our last resort.. we went to merchant hotel and intend to book a room just to watch the show.. however, my boss said forget about it.. there will be a re-telecast @ 11.30pm on CNA.. so he suggested that we jus have a nice dinner at Merchant Court Hotel, The Market Cafe...the dinner was ok.. it was buffet style.. been there like 3 times le.. the food still the same.. hahahaha...that stupid bloody Highlander really messed up night and everyone's mood.. especially.. Ms. Zhen Kay-Poh.. (that's her nick) lol.. she felt so bad.. cos she's the organiser and everything just turned out bad.. she went around and apologised to everyone... afterall is NOT her fault.. i'm gonna condemned Highlander from now on... CONDEMN CONDEMN CONDEMN!!! -pissed-**************************************
had a small party by ourselves (without bosses.. hahah...) after dinner @ one of the job site that we did for the decking.. it's called 'The Pump Room' located @ Clarke Quay.. supposingly to join sara and friends for see-sha.. apparently the rest din like the place.. and so here we are @ Pump Room...
group photo taken inside Pump Roomit was a nice place indeed.. very spacious.. non-smoking pub.. good for those ppl who dun like the smoking smell in the pub.. this is a good place to go...they have live band too.. 10.30pm start.. i believe that they have it every night.. here's pic of the band.. most of them are malays.. and they can really really sing.. and is damn good.. 
guy band @ Pump Roomwe also had an advance birthday celebration with sara too.. we sarboh her on to the stage and sing a song for us togther with the live band...
the sabotage and the bday girlat least at the pub everyone was really enjoying.. though we din not catch the re-telecast @ 11.30pm.. we got one of the colleagues to taped it down in dvd for us.. most importantly.. Ms. Zhen Kay-Poh also enjoyed and forget about the matter.. -hugz-Labels: entertainment
