i'm pretty impressed by the author of death note.. he's so amazing.. the plot for part 2 was incredible.. *clap clap*

anyway.. there wasn't much of a difference between the movie and the manga.. maybe only that how Light got his death note.. and the way those people died in the show is kind of different from the comic itself..

basically other than that.. i think is about the same.. BAH.. LOL.. Misa is damn pretty and cute.. Kiyomi is damn sexy.. HAHAHA...

afterall.. this is a good movie! TWO THUMBS UP!!

time flies.. xmas is over...

been awhile since i last posted my blog.. busy with work and xmas season.. after work.. buy gifts.. everyday routine almost the same.. walking around orchard for the past 2 weeks.. walk until i sick of going to town now.. LOL!!

this year xmas.. i really spend alot on gifts.. almost bought for everyone... close friends.. their gfs/sisters/brothers.. relatives and also my colleagues.. i think total number of presents i bought is about 38!!

peeps.. i hope you all like the presents i bought.. and though i spent alot.. in return i received many too.. thanks for the presents that you guys bought for me too.. -hugz-

we had a small little celebration held @ my office with all my colleagues.. order delifrance puffs and tarts.. thanks to Judy from Mapei who bought us a very nice log cake.. so sweet..





after that.. we had our xmas gift exchange @ the xmas tree.. wow.. look at the presents.. suppose to buy only for the person that you picked.. but however.. some of them bought extras.. expecially for all the ladies in the office.. LOL!! almost all girls bring one big bag of gifts home that day.. -muackz-

23rd december 2006

went to serene's house for a small gathering with friends and also play mahjong overnight..

we had 2 uninvited guests that came to join us for the mahjong session.. it was 2 cockroaches.. LOL!! one that can fly.. the other one was on the floor.. 4 of us.. only zhen not scare of cockroaches.. lucky thing she's here.. if not we wouldn't know how to catch that 2 "friends".. cannot find baygone.. that flying one was hard to catch.. keep flying and hiding @ one corner..

finally after 10 mins of battling with the flying cockroach, we caught it!! LOL... wat a day...

shag to the max.. we played until the next morning which is xmas eve.. guess wat.. i din not win.. neither did i lose.. i had the same amount chips that we started.. LOL.. had our breakfast @ bedok north.. then after that we went home and catch some sleep before i head down to my another friend's house for the xmas celebration..

woke up @ about 6.45pm.. had to wrap a few more presents before heading down to KC's house for the party... rush down by cab.. as i was rather late already... reached his place @ 8pm.. almost everyone was there except for ww and jiahui..

same for every xmas.. KC's mum cooked alot alot of food.. and as usual there were many left-overs.. haha.. turkey was nice.. especially the sauce... hmm... YUMMY!!

after dinner.. went upstairs and i started giving out presents.. everyone had their presents open and glad that they liked gifts i bought.. phew.. at least never waste my time and effort.. cracking and thinking of what to get for them.. and walking along orchard for so many days.. and in rain too..

so nice to see everyone.. cos we don't always get to meet everyone at the same time at the same place... the only few occassions are maybe bdays.. xmas day and chinese new year.. that's where everyone will gather together and enjoy the happy seasons..

after opening all the gifts.. they were all playing games.. 5 laptops and 2 computers.. is like a mini lan shop.. LOL.. they wanted to play dota but it was too lag.. everyone pc is sharing the same IP.. same bandwidth.. so they decided.. to PLAY MAHJONG again!!

haha.. another overnight mahjong session.. those who dun play mahjong.. will play dota.. world of warcraft.. some watch anime.. some enjoying the massage chair.. others went to sleep after the countdown..

this time i lost badly.. sob sob.. 81 bucks.. OUCH!! but is ok.. everyone happy can already.. LOL... i was so so so so so so damn tired.. 2 nights of mahjonging.. can die... lucky it was still holiday the next day.. so not too bad afterall...

is xmas day!! after that majong session.. reach home about 1pm.. still have to do house chores.. body already cannot take it.. but no choice.. i have to do.. after cleaning up the whole house.. went to take a quick bath.. and immediately went to nap awhile.. that was about 3pm..

i know my friends all sure wanna go out during xmas.. 5.30pm.. dear called me.. and woke me up.. saying they will be watching movie.. initially i din wan to go.. but i already promised them say that i'll be going.. so i told him.. to check what time is the movie.. and i will join them slightly later.. for dinner and movie..

reluctanly.. i dragged myself out of my bed.. that was about 7pm.. took a bath.. and prepare to meet them @ cineleisure orchard.. the show we were watching is "NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM"





this is a nice show.. really funny.. and something different.. i would recommend you guys to watch if you haven't done so.. at least is worth my $9.50.. and giving up on my sleep.. LOL!!

they are moving to Funan IT Mall @ Level 5 from 8 January 2007... Specialist Shopping Centre going to be tear down soon.. and build some new commericial building i guess.. =)

it has been a long long time since i last went to clarke quay.. it has changed so much.. much more lively.. much more beautiful than what it was back then.. suppose to have a dinner @ Highlander, a scottish restuarant and bar, and also to catch the program on Channel New Asia featuring on our company - Wood Doctor

but however, when we were on the way down to clarke quay.. the manager from highlander called us and told us that they couldn't connect the cable.. and cannot receive the channel.. OH MAN!! we were so angry with Highlander.. as they promised us the day before that everything will be ok.. and now.. they came and told us this bad news.. it was about 7 plus when everyone reached clarke quay..

so nevermind.. we went to other place to look for another alternatives.. we went to many pubs, bars and restaurant and asked if they do have CNA channel.. but all said no.. after that then we realised from one guy he told us that the whole street of clarke quay doesn't have the cable for local channels.. they only have sports ans mtvs channels..

searching high and low for places that have tv.. but no CNA! the show was starting soon @ 8.30pm and we still din managed to find a place.. so to our last resort.. we went to merchant hotel and intend to book a room just to watch the show.. however, my boss said forget about it.. there will be a re-telecast @ 11.30pm on CNA.. so he suggested that we jus have a nice dinner at Merchant Court Hotel, The Market Cafe...

the dinner was ok.. it was buffet style.. been there like 3 times le.. the food still the same.. hahahaha...

that stupid bloody Highlander really messed up night and everyone's mood.. especially.. Ms. Zhen Kay-Poh.. (that's her nick) lol.. she felt so bad.. cos she's the organiser and everything just turned out bad.. she went around and apologised to everyone... afterall is NOT her fault.. i'm gonna condemned Highlander from now on... CONDEMN CONDEMN CONDEMN!!!

had a small party by ourselves (without bosses.. hahah...) after dinner @ one of the job site that we did for the decking.. it's called 'The Pump Room' located @ Clarke Quay.. supposingly to join sara and friends for see-sha.. apparently the rest din like the place.. and so here we are @ Pump Room...

it was a nice place indeed.. very spacious.. non-smoking pub.. good for those ppl who dun like the smoking smell in the pub.. this is a good place to go...

they have live band too.. 10.30pm start.. i believe that they have it every night.. here's pic of the band.. most of them are malays.. and they can really really sing.. and is damn good..

i'm so happy today.. finally i bought a speaker for my laptop... damn good buy.. is so compact and small.. sound quality i would say 85% good.. rechargable batt.. most importantly.. is CHEAP! becos xmas is around the corner.. almost every single shop is having a xmas sales.. discounts are everywhere...

hq also bought that speaker and a cable for himself too.. so total.. we purchase 3 items from one of the shop at ICON Trendy Zone.. we got a 20% discount... woooo... nice nice... i lazy to take pic of the speaker.. but u guys will see it.. cos hq will bring it out if ever there's a MJ session @ mark's or kc's house...

aiyah.. i forget to ask the shop assistant.. how long must i charge the batt if it dies out.. maybe standard 2 hours?? hehhehe.. i guess bah...

back to my jap school yesterday to continue my intermediate course... got my textbook.. paid the school fees.. man is getting more and more difficult.. the course fee getting more and more expensive.. and the duration of the lessons getting shorter and shorter... Hahaha..

after class we had dinner at far east plaza level 5.. then walk around at far east.. bought a few things.. for myself.. and managed to get one xmas present for my friend.. haiz.. i still got so many more to buy.. need to crack my head to think of wat gifts to buy for which friends.. guys please do let me know wat u wan for xmas.. easier for me to get for you all.. lol! ppl like.. HQ, ww, mohan, nic, doug, darren.. and lastly my dear.. girlfriends.. no need to list.. easier to buy for you all... but of cos if there's something that you really want can tell me also..

the night is stil young.. so we decided to head down to cineleisure to chill out.. have a coffee, ice blended drinks, cakes.. and waffles.. went to Maestro Bistro as usual.. but this time we did not order Fondue.. cos only me and hq eating.. both of us sure cannot finish.. when we reached there.. we got a seat.. i put my things and went to shop awhile see what i can for xmas.. for my girlfriends...

stopped by a cart outside more than words.. this cart sell quite nice things.. but not very useful.. hahha.. except for mark who bought one gift for his boss, Paul, which i think it was really a good buy.. it was within his budget... it rather useful..

i personally like the vintage clock they displayed out.. is a clock plus alarm.. and a radio.. but it was $35.90.. din want to spend too much on myself.. if not i would have enough to buy gifts for friends le.. so in the end i did not purchase the vintage clock...

finally mark manage to buy his gift for his company xmas exchange gifts.. so we went back to Maestro Bistro.. when i was about to order.. HQ told me that the blender was spoilt.. he was so angry.. is becos they did not tell us first that the blender was spoil before we placed an order.. thereafter.. we ordered waffles instead since there's no more blended drinks.. we called for the waitress.. order the waffles.. then again.. she told us that the freezer was spoilt too.. oh man.. how suay can that be... HQ was so pissed off by their working attitude and customer services...

So wat now.. no blended drinks.. no ice cream.. so basically there's no point for us to stay there.. we called for the bill.. HQ only ate one piece of cake.. and nic order a fruit punch.. the bill took forever to come... HQ couldn't wait.. he went up to the counter instead and settle the bill.. suay to the max.. can't believe that everything was spoilt.. we suggested to go to another cafe...

went to TCC @ emerald.. it was a nice place there... not very crowded.. cos the place was rather small too.. very fast we got a seat.. the air con was damn cold.. HQ said the wedges here was damn good.. actually was the chesse that they like... the wedges all taste the same.. lol.. each of us order a drink.. i had a ice minty mocha.. it was nice.. not too sweet..taste just right...

i'm surprised that nic stayed with us till 2am.. lol!! this was the first time that he stayed out so late with us.. and yet NOT feeling tired at all.. haha.. well i guess the topics on girls make him feels damn awake...

wat else can guys talked about beside girls.. maybe games.. politics.. religions.. etc.. etc... nic was saying that why eveytime he failed when he attempt to chase a girl.. and always the girl ended up with someone's else.. he thought that he was getting very close and jus one more steps he could have got her.. but somehow.. there's something amiss in him.. so near yet so far...

he couldn't figure out what's wrong with him.. why is he always like that.. maybe is the process of chasing girls.. he's lack of his own character and personality.. he doesn't stand out in front of the girl that he likes.. and he's very affected by the things that girl talked about.. for example.. talking about another guy.. how good is he.. how rich is he.. how good-looking is he.. or maybe she talked about her ex-bf.. etc etc.. he's very emotionally affected by all these things that when he date a girl out and she talked about this.. he feels very down.. and feels that these competitors are so much stronger than him...

he must learn to push all these negative thoughts away.. not bother about who are his competitors.. or how good how rich his competitors are.. present himself well in front of the girl he date.. have more of short term goals.. like what he wants to achieve today if he date her out.. have more confidence...

we talked to him on how he should present himself.. on what he can do to make himself a better guy.. mark as usual gave his ideas.. and his views on how nic can do.. listed out a few things for him.. HQ also pinned out some ideas and said some of his views...

hopefully.. our dear nic.. will be enlightened and have one good relationship..

CONGRATULATIONS..... Dance Arts Recital 2006 was a great success!!!


Firstly, I wanna thanks to all my friends who came to watch and support me!!! MUACKS!!! You Guys ROX!!!


Secondly, to my dear sister... for making her effort down to watch... I know during the 1st to 2nd section was very boring.. cos of all the kids ballet.. ballet and more ballet.. section 3 was more enjoyable and fun.. of cos I was in section 3 too.. LOL!! 姐姐，我爱你!!!


Thirdly, to all my dance pals.. without you all.. the show wasn't that great... with you all.. you guys make the show so wonderful.. so fantastic.. so memorable.. 3 cheers to you all!!!


Forthly, to the backstage crews.. who did the music arrangements.. the lighting.. and my make-up artist... SAMANTHA BOEY... good job!


Lastly... to our "Tricky P" Patrick Loo.. our chereographer cum stage manager.. without you.. there'll be NO us! Without you.. the show won't run so smoothly... we know that we screwed up during the rehersal.. and got scoldings from you upside down.. luckily the actual performance wasn't too bad.. LOL!! WOOOOOO....YOU'RE THE MAN!!
